Advice from a veteran!

Okay, so with the increased proportion of habbos investing their time in attempting to hack & scam, I have had a few questions from fellow habbos about changing their passwords.

It's a pretty simple task at first glance, assuming that when you signed up for habbo, you entered your correct date of birth. Unfortunately however many people entered a fake date of birth, not realizing that in the future they may require it for an emergency such as this!

So, you want to change your password, but you can't remember your date of birth. It's not all that difficult once you know how, below are the steps towards getting it back:

- Once signed in, you will be at habbo.com/me and once here, you will see an orange colored clickable, called Help, located next to the Sign Out button. Click it!

- This will bring up a pop-up box which contains all of the FAQs associated with habbo, once here, you should click on Contact Us.

- From here you will will see at the top of the page it says Help Tool. Ensure you click this.

- Finally, it will bring you to a page where you can enter your details, and then finally address your problem.

2010 Film Festival Winners!!

What news is stirring around the hotel? I see the red carpet being stretched out!

That's a wrap! The amazing talent within habbo is immense with so many habbos going in for the festival. The amount of people that contributed their time showed that people have a real dedication to it!

So 40, 20, 15 videos, as it narrowed down, habbo staff could not believe how much of a mixed array of videos there were being submitted.
But with a lot of time spent watching the videos, and consulting one another, they came to a conclusion as to who the final 5 videos should be!

Without further ado I would like to send a congratulations to the winners:

Well done to all of the aforementioned winners, and I would also like to say a well done to all of those habbos that spent their time creating, editing and submitting their videos.

Home a boar!

Okay, so over the last few days ya'll have been busy finding Penelope, and you succeeded in your efforts to ensure she was found safely!

But now, habbo has yet another task for you to complete, and as a result they have placed country furniture in the catalog, but only for this weekend!

Continuing with your efforts, and your amazing work, this new venture should prove to be a simple one with the teamwork that has been proven recently.
Below are the rules outlined on habbo:

-You will need to build a perfect home for a Boar of Baskerville breed pig.
-You must utilize some of Habboween and Country furni from the catalog.
-Deadline is Monday March 15th @ 12pm PT (3pm ET)

So, if you reckon you can create a place suitable for a pig, then once you have completed it, take a screenshot of the room and send it in, along with your chosen name of the pig to: competitions.us@sulake.com

-Subject of the email should be: Baskerville Mudhole - (Your habbo name)
-.GIF and .PNG are the only formats accepted by habbo.
-Ensure your screenshot is saved as your habbo name. Example: SirTezza.png

5 winners are possible in this competition, which means each will get their very own Boar in their rooms if they win, a MONTH OF HC and up to 5 Honor points will be awarded.

It's up to you now! I've provided the information that you need, habbo has supplied the furni, and now I release you into the wild to start building your rooms.

REMEMBER: The room should be fit for a pig, ensure it is extraordinarily smelly and muddy in your room!

It also discusses the issue of how you would feel toward people just randomly coming up and adding you. It will take some time, but I think the habbo staff needs your opinions. Penelope Is Almost Home!! :D!

Things Are Getting REALLY Intense because we are SO close to saving

Penelope from the Boar of Baskerville!

You have worked really hard this week, so are you ready for your last day?
What you will need to do today:

1) Search Baskerville And Enter The Baskerville Mansion, from there you should get to the Baskerville Hall.
2) Proceed through the same open Greek Gates and through the same Door Tele's as Yesterday. You will enter into the same location you have already visited. This time the gate to the woods will be open. Go through the tele's and make your way through the long and scary woods.
3) Now, you willl find yourself in the presence of The Boar Of Baskerville and Penelope! ! Once you encounter him, ask him the question that we have searched the answer for so long! "Why did you abduct Penelope?" If your lucky enough, he will give you an answer that will solve the mystery, finally!
4) You'll need to know the name of the criminal, so you also need to ask the Boar Of Baskerville what his real name is.
5) Using the knowledge/information that you have gained this week during the Baskerville Investigations, You should answer the three questions posted at
http://www.habbo.com/articles/1545-i-can-sense-penelope-is-near (copy and paste) to get the Boar Of Baskerville Badge, make sure you answer all of the questions correctly!

Habbo Film Festival Finalists!

Habbo US Staff has now come to their to 15 Finalists for the Habbo Film Festival. If you entered this competition and made it this far congratulations and good luck. Proper credit shall be given to the Directors & Actors ( Must be spelled exactly how they are on Habbo). Prizes and badges will be awarded on March 12th, 6 PT (9:00 PM EST).

All those who are in the TOP 15 videos will be added to the Official Habbo US Youtube page.

Also the Habbo Film Festival will set to take place March 12th @ 4pm PT in the Red Carpet Awards Ceremony room. There will only be 5 winners in which who well receive a Special Directors badge, 2 moths of HabboClub and also a pack of stickers. Habbo Staff will be picking the winners due to in case of cloning votes. Special shout out to those who participated in the competition.
Be sure to get in the room early which can be found in the Official Rooms category to secure a sure seat.

Finale of the Film Festival!

Calling all Movie Buffs!

The beloved Habbo Film Festival is coming to a close with Habbo staff choosing a top 15 to be in the final!

For all of you badge collectors out there, you will be pleased to know that for merely participating in the festival you will receive the badge!

However, the 5 directors will each receive a hot looking badge reserved for the directors only!

Now, if that hasn't made your mouth water enough, I will also tell you that the 5 directors will not only receive the special badge, but also a FULL set of movie poster stickers & 2 MONTHS HABBO CLUB!

I can hardly curb my excitement as I await with the rest of the community to see who are the lucky 5!

The long awaited finale has been scheduled for March 12th @ 4pm PT in the Red Carpet Awards Ceremony room. The directors will be receiving a personal invitation from habbo!

Investigation Day 4..

You're one step closer to finding Penelope! Yesterday, You found the object and found out the next object is located in the shores of the river Styx.

You first need to search "Baskerville" and enter the "Baskerville Mansion", then find your way through the halls.

Next, Go through the opened Greek gates and through the teleporters. You will be at your location you were told on day 3.

Next, You will see a dark creature. Ask it, "Who is your master?" Then you will be able to find out the creature's master.

Next, Ask where the master is, using the name you have. The creature will respond with it's master's hideout.

Then, Once you have all this information, go though the other teleporters to find the master's hideout.

Once you locate the master, use the secret password that you got from the creature you talked to a few moments ago. The master will tell you the place you need to go to find the boar and save Penelope!

Finally, Once you have this information, save it! You will need it for tomorrow's investigation!

Good luck. Remember, SAVE PENELOPE!

The Search For Penelope Day 4 :o!

So far, it seems that your detective work is paying off, and we are really close to solving this mystery!! Let's just hope the pig is found alive.

Yesterday, you should have had located the mysterious object and learned that the next location was upon the shores of the river Styx. Those of you who correctly guessed the clue, are one step closer to the end.

Today's To-Do List:
1) Go to Baskerville Mansion and enter the Baskerville Hall (As Always).
2) Proceed through the newly opened Greek Gates and through the door tele's. You will enter the location that you were told of on Day 3 of the search.
3) There, you should see a dark creature, go up to it and ask it "Who is your master?" The Creature should respond with its master's name.
4) Using the name provided, ask where that person is. The Creature will then tell you where his master can be found and he will also tell you the secret word used to wake him.
5) Once you have gathered this information, make sure you remember it or write it down somewhere, and then proceed to the next set of tele's in that room.
6) When you locate the master, you should use the secret word that the mysterious creature told you about to wake him. The master will then tell you of the place you must pass in order to find the boar and save the pets.
7) Once you've figured out the clue, you have officially moved one step further. Your detective work will not be needed anymore today, but you will still be needed tomorrow.

I Wonder what will happen in Penelope is found dead..!?

With the movie poster competition coming to and end shortly before, this one follows shortly behind with no-less of the talent than the previous competition had.

With the premature death of an actor that I loved to watch, still looms over us, it is a welcome bit of news when we get word of the winners, and I am happy to announce them on behalf of BOBBAvalues. Is It Comming?

Can it really happen? A new feature has come to Habbo Uk! From now on, you can choose what HC Gift you would like. You will need to have that many months to get up to that gift, but you can choose anything below it too! That has made changes in prices for all the HC Gifts there.

Will it come to Habbo US? What will happen to our prices? What will the values of Hc's be worth if it comes?

I really doubt that staff will make hcs easy to get.

We'll just have to wait and see if we get the chance to try this out! I'm not positive it's coming so don't take my word for it, but there's still a chance!(:

Actor Corey Haim Has Died!!!

To all of you who knew this actor know some of his films, or you may have seen his films but never really paid any attention to the actors in the movies.

The Los Angeles coroner's office says “Corey Haim died at the age of 38.”
Cheryl Mac Willie said Wednesday that Haim died at 2:15 a.m. at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. No cases of dead has been released. She is still waiting on the autopsy results.

Some of his most famous films that he came out in are, “Lucas“, “The Lost Boys“, and “The Firstborn” in which he played a young child caught up in a family war. Then he appeared again in a TV movie called “A Time to Live” in 1985.

In recent years, he appeared in the A&E reality TV show "The Two Corey’s" with his friend Corey Feldman. It was canceled in 2008 after two seasons.

Personally I only saw one of his movies in my English class and he was a great actor and he will always stay in our hearts.

The Search For Penelope Continues...

Penelope has not been found yet, but we are on the right track! The Boar Of Baskerville continues to elude us, but we will eventually solve this strange mystery.

Yesterday, most of you reached the room at the top of the staircase, but only to find that the object is not in that room anymore. It has moved locations. For those of you who found the revised location and yesterday's secret word, you have solved the second clue!

Today's To-Do List:

1) Search Baskerville and enter the Baskerville mansion, and from there you should find your way find your way to the Baskerville Mansion Hall.
2) Go into the Door teleports in the Greek gates. Today's objective, similar as yesterdays, is to find the mysterious object that you have been told about so many times.
3) Once you finally discover this mysterious object, you should stand close to it and say Boar of Baskerville. The object will then tell you the information that you need to know at the moment to determine today's clue. Anything that the object says, make sure to remember it, or store to somewhere, as it is important for this case to be solved.

Once you do that your work for today is done, but of course there will always be more! Be ready for tomorrow's detective work!

If I was given a dollar for every habbo that has submitted an entry to the competition, I would be able to retire and spend my days on this computer writing for you guys!

Unfortunately I'm not that lucky! But there were some amazing entries to the competition, and the Habbo Staff have been really excited by the interest.
To say the habbos are talented is an understatement and I'd like to express my joy at the winning 3 movie posters.

Mr.Flicker for his superb rendition of the movie "Up" which I think is a great animation. Also to Elvio who created an excellent feature about "Wall-E" and last but not least, dudocks, for mapping an inspiring animation linked with the movie "Coraline"

So if you see these habbos around the hotel, be sure to congratulate them, as it sure was a difficult task, among thousands of habbos, to be in the top 3!

Don't panic, it's only 1 coin. I believe they assure you this is the only difference they will bring to you.

5 Coins will cost 6 Coins.
10 Coins will cost 11 Coins.

The Mystery Of Penelope Continues...

As you may already know, CrestHawk's pig Penelope still remains missing, but we now have a #1 suspect, The Boar Of Baskerville!

Although it seems that we are getting closer to solving this mystery, there is still much to be done.

For Investigation Day 2 you need to:
Search Baskerville and enter the Baskerville Mansion, and your goal is to reach the location that you were told of yesterday, so that you can find the object in question.

Once you finally reach your destination, search for some new clues that will be found on the sticky note. Once that is done, you have completed today's work, but there will be more tomorrow!

No one knows for sure where his cute little piggy has gone to, but recently we have found a suspect in all of this mess. Boar of Baskerville has now become the #1 suspect! I wonder if he is hiding anymore things. What do you think? I guess we will just have to find out. And to those of you who found yesterdays clues from the Bots, guess what? Today there is a new path opened!!
